Small Office Solutions is growing and is looking for qualified, customer service oriented IT professionals. We are currently looking to fill the following positions

HelpDesk Technician
Job Responsibilities Include(but are not limited too):

- Install, configure, customize and maintain desktop components (hardware, software, and operating systems). Perform analysis, isolation and resolution of problems on desktop hardware and software.
- Coordinate the maintenance and repair of PC's and peripherals (modems, etc.) to ensure availability and good working condition of all equipment to meet customer needs.
- Identify scope of problem, analyze, isolate, and resolve. Involve additional support personnel as needed.
- Update and close ticket records.
- Coordinate troubleshooting and maintenance of phone system issues (hardware, software, adjuncts, lines, etc).
- Organize the move of equipment and interface with Facilities department and end-user.
- Perform PC builds for installation.
- Perform preventative maintenance on computer inventory.
- Schedule when components need to be cleaned and serviced. Clean/service components on schedule.
- Interface with hardware vendors - escalate problems to ensure timely resolution.
- Research and recommend purchases and configurations of desktop hardware, software, and peripherals to Network Administrator.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3-4 years in Microsoft operations and hardware support.
- Ability to operate MS-DOS, Windows Server 2003, and Windows XP, among other systems.
- Coordinate troubleshooting and maintenance of phone system.
-Perform preventative maintenance on computer inventory.
- Good understanding of data communications and networking.
